The Peninsula is an extremely popular, classic golf club neighborhood on Lake Norman that has maintained its value well. It wraps around a beautiful golf course that runs along the lake. Club memberships are available for golf, pool, tennis, and social. There is a separate Yacht Club.

Peninsula Golf Course The neighborhood has about 750 custom-built homes. Most were built between 1991 and 2000 with a couple dozen lot owners building later.
